Melvin Guillard has nothing to be upset about! He didnt like how UFC cut him, but in his conversation with Dana from UFC, they talked about Melvin fighting elsewhere and getting some more wins.
Melvin could not be happier with the idea! In fact, Melvin, as a fighter can make more money in another organization than he can in UFC, so this is big, and should say something to other fighters about changing Organizations. Of course if you arent forced to change, you may not be welcomed back, but who knows, in such a crazy game still.
Melvin can face fighters that havent scratched even the slightest of surfaces he has, so this could be a landslide of a number of wins for him!
He has mentioned WSOF and Bellator, but also Legends in Italy, in which he will have a meeting in the next week or so, to discuss a possible contract over there!
IMO, Guillard has a great opportunity right now to get a championship fight in the near future!
And he is seizing the moment!
