Johny has been in the UFC since august of 2009.
He started off nicely, and built a sweet resume with a suite of wins, minus the fight with Rick Story in December of 2010...
Johny has been all over UFC to let him get at GSP, but they have thrown him other fights since calling GSP out after his fight with Fitch, or was it Koscheck?......
Either way, those are 2 big names! But i do believe Condit or Diaz should be next for him, he's done well, and wants it now, but his career is still young only being 29 years old! But any fighter or fight fan can understand, he wants it all, for his family, for his future....who could blame him?
Hendricks has made himself known for getting the hard hitting shot in the 1st round and knocking opponents into next week or wrestling and pulling out the decision, seems almost to a T. But he cant rush a title shot, him waiting might not be a bad idea.
Taking on a fighter like Carlos Condit could really prep him properly for a title shot, cuz i would bet that would be next.....
Look at it this way....Nick Diaz cried and whined and got his title shot after losing to Condit (Yes, Nick is 1-1 in UFC and gets a title shot!!??!! Now Johny is facing Condit, the guy who beat Diaz fair and square, how can he be denied a title shot if he wins? We have seen weirder things, but who knows.....Cant be much weirder than Nick Diaz losing and getting a title shot for it!!!! Or at least for his mouth.....
