Bobby Lashley headed to Super Fight League to face James Thompson for Main Event

Lashley, a former Strikeforce fighter and one-time WWE superstar, holds a record of 7-1 in MMA. Thompson (17-14) was also in the main event of SFL 1, defeating Bob Sapp via first round submission.
Lashley left pro wrestling and entered MMA much like former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar did. However, Lashley did not have the same kind of immediate impact, and has bounced around a few smaller organizations. He had been rumored as a possible opponent for Fedor Emelianenko in June, but that appears unlikely with the announcement of this fight.
Trevor Prangley has also been signed for the same card
