Machida demands rematch??

At the UFC 140 press conference, Lyoto Machida said (through a translator) that he thought the fight was going great until he took the elbow to the forehead. He said his vision got blurry afterward and he thought it was the beginning of the end, but he held in there for a while.

Jones said he was surprised Machida didn't move more from underneath once he took him down, leaving himself open for what would be a fateful elbow to the forehead.

When Machida went down on the mat shortly before being submitted, but after being cut open with an elbow strike, he was throwing a right punch at the same time Jones did, and Jones just beat him to it. It was seconds later that Machida fell victim to being choked out against the cage.

He said he would love to face Jones again. "Who knows who else is out there for Jon Jones right now," he said.

"I'm a UFC fighter, so I'll wait for a call from the UFC to see who to prepare to fight next. But I'm a fighter and this is what happens. You win some, you lose some. You have to keep moving and keep doing what you're doing."
